Who am I?✏️

Let me introduce myself

I'm Barnaby, a careers coach and professional skills trainer experienced in supporting and engaging diverse groups of clients ranging from students (undergraduate to executive level) to accomplished professionals worldwide. Through Future, Referenced I use an imaginative, effective and engaging approach to work with individuals and groups looking to plan their career journeys and professional futures.

Having worked at three world-renowned universities in the UK - Imperial College London, University College London (UCL) and the London School of Economics (LSE) - as well as in further and adult education colleges,  I've had extensive delivery of careers advice and guidance to thousands of clients in one-to-one, group, and lecture formats locally and internationally (online and in person), as well as communicating with organisations sized from multinational employers to start-ups to build job market knowledge across sectors.

I've also managed programmes including delivering a series of careers events in Asia, developing and advocating for career mentoring programmes, and coordinating a charity internships initiative.

Aside, I enjoy a bit of running here and there, playing the guitar badly, and drinking tea from a collection of far too many different blends to be practical.

All of this led to Future, Referenced - a platform for me to offer tailored careers guidance and support to enable and empower you - or your team - in moving through your career journeys and futures.
